Every year college students leave their books behind and travel to a few select locations to unwind and have a good time during their spring break. It used to be Ft. lauderdale was the number one choice to go but the city ran the students off in an effort to clean up the city's image. The kids moved north to Daytona and after a few years that city ran them off too. They have since seen the dollar value of spring break and have welcomed them back. Other popular destinations are Panama City, South Padre Island, and Cancun in Mexico. Spring Break has always been a party atmosphere but when MTV became involved the party really got started. The TV coverage pushed the spring breakers to do wild and crazy things whitout any inhibitions reaching a climax in the late 80s. Anything goes supported by the vow " What happens in Daytona stays in Daytona " and the freak was on. The city leaders have stepped in to curb some of the activities and it's now a little more mellow. Justin has covered Spring Break for over twenty years and now you can see all the action inside! |

Girls line up to enter the wet t-shirt contests and they will do just about anything to win! They push each other to the limit and almost always somebody ends up naked! The beach gets so crowded with spring breakers they end up spilling over into the streets and sometimes the action on the sidewalks is just as interesting |
